Great place. Awesome food. Try the Basil. Service is great. Mae, the owner, is great. She makes sure that everything is good. The lunch menu is great. You can't go wrong! !

Tried this with my son today for lunch. WOW... cute, small, quaint, but definitely get plenty with the amount of food they serve! My son ordered the Sushi/Sashimi Combo ($11.99) and I ordered the Hosomaki combo ($10.99). WOW! Very filling and very delicious! Both lunches came with a Rice soup and a type of coleslaw/salad. It had carrots, cucumbers, fruit, and crab in a vinaigrette dressing. The combo I had included 3 different sushi rolls, 1/2 orange, and 2 slices of a crunch roll. I couldn't finish it all. They personalize their drinks and food with designs in the food such as flowers or animals. Gives it a personal touch. The fish is very fresh for Sushi / Sashimi! Their prices are very competitive with other Sushi places around town. The service was outstanding and I would highly recommend everyone try it if you enjoy Sushi. They do have an extensive list of non-sushi items as well. I saw they have duck, so I will probably try that next time we go. The only downside is that there are 3 parking spaces on the same side of the street or parking across the street. No parking in the apartments next to it and I'm not sure how the grocery market would feel about you parking in their lot either.

Best sushi in the area. I spent over 30% less than another place I reviewed and I always leave full. the amount of fish they put I'm their sushi is very impressive! it's small and quaint but well worth the food!! My suggestion is that if you want sushi, this is the place to go. Was a tad disappointed that they were out of conch but that doesn't diminish the quality, quantity and price of what I had gotten. Enjoy

Great food for very good price. I had sushi and my brother had a curry dish that he described as outstanding!

Meal was great!..had the massaman curry with chicken...spice level 2 which was a great level for me...didn't expect the avocado in out...nice addition. The sushi was great too! We loved the seaweed salad and edamame...would definitely go back

The Chef/Owner was picking his teeth while simultaneously cracking sunflower seeds on them at the sushi bar (for about twenty minutes), not quietly or privately but really chomping down and going to town on these things. Then when an order was placed he would simply wipe his hands with a rag. Even if that rag were soaked in chlorine the amount of debris that had to be flying from his teeth and gums onto the sushi bar was enough for me. I don't usually get up and walk out of a restaurant but this was just way too much hand to mouth to sushi contact for me. I wouldn't bother writing a review about a minor health dept. violation but I had to let the word out about the dental work being done at this dive. I know all kinds of gross stuff happens at restaurants and i don't have a problem with employees/owners eating but at least do it in the back or anywhere other than over the raw fish and roll up spot dude.

This place is amazing. Came here on vacation. The preparation is like nothing I've seen and everything is cooked to perfection. Service is impeccable. Maybe the best food in Vero Beach.

Saigon is run by a local couple who have been doing this for a long time. They are Thai, but this restaurant also serves Vietnamese food and some very good sushi. My original review was 4/5 stars 2 years ago, but after two years of regular attendance I've revised my opinion because this is absolutely the best place to eat in Vero for the price. The owner is always friendly and makes my dinner a good experience. In fact the owners are what make this place the best Thai/Sushi place in town (which is good considering there are like 10 of them now in Vero). The menu is very expansive with nearly 200 items and overly the last 2 years I've still only tried about 50 of the dishes. I love every dish I've had. I love the curry fish, the huge scallops and prawns (Jimmy's Special), the Vietnamese noodle soup (Pho Doc Biet), the steamed summer rolls, and all the sushi dishes I've tried. Try the tuna tamaki to see a beautiful presentation of seared thin tuna that looks like a rose. This is the one restaurant I'm going to miss about Vero and one of the reasons I just may have to come back to visit.

Wonderful, fresh food! Staff super friendly and attentive. Love how they serve complimentary soup and salad as soon as you are seated! Volcano beef and red curry tofu were big hits w/our party.

Fresh, delicious, fast and inexpensive. We had the box lunch for $9.99 and we shared. Ample amount for 2 with modest appetites. Special touches like the paper straw cover shaped like a rose and the lemon wedge shaped into a shrimp (I think), enhanced our meal. Wish we lived closer so we could return.

Wife and stopped in and we're very happy we did. The food was fresh, tasted great, was presented nicely, and the service was top notch. Had 3 rolls and the prices were very reasonable. We don't get to Vero Beach often bit when we do this place will be on our list.

First time here and I will be back. Food was great, I had the Sushi Mori A Combination and it was totally worth it. I also had my first japanese beer (Kirin Ichiban) and that was really good as well. I'm only giving it four stars because for my taste the rice and beer could have been a little colder. Service was good, they have a very friendly staff!

We're here every time we're in Vero Beach. Never a bad meal. Prices good, portions great, always some to take home. Best green curry in town.

This has become my go to spot for Sushi here in Vero Beach. I've been to a couple of the other places here in town and although they are good Saigon is easily my favorite. Just a short walk from our house we go at least once a month. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean and always busy. Plenty of room in this restaurant for large parties. We come for the Sushi but they have a full menu for those not getting fish. They are right on the edge of the Art District here in Vero Beach with lots of galleries, shops and other bistros. Stop in on the next Art Walk!!

Well, we were out of town, in Florida on New Year's Eve of all evenings, and grandma out of nowhere offers to babysit. "Go out and have a good time," she says. So after a few clicks on the wife's phone, we find Saigon Sushi in "downtown" Vero Beach. What a find. We eat a lot of Thai food, and the flavors here ranked as high as we've ever found. They have a good Asian beer selection. I went with the $5 22 ounce Chang choice, a Thai beer. It was good, not great, but I liked having the choice. The spring rolls had a crunchier texture with more peanut undertones than we're used to, and it was great. Wife says the best she's ever had, and that says a lot. The Wife ordered her usual, Pad Thai with chicken. Again, she calls it the best ever. It had a sweetness that she's never encountered. I ordered sushi, and it was as good as it gets. Now, I didn't get any of the fancy sushi rolls, so I can't give you real detailed info on this category. All in all, this place was cozy and just what we needed for New Year's Eve impromptu celebration. The food was delicious, which is the most important thing we look for in any good restaurant. The ambience had the local feel, a place you didn't have to get dressed up for but a place that felt special nevertheless. We will definitely go back the next time we get to Vero Beach.

My favorite spot for sushi in Vero. I love the Spicy Crab roll best but all the sushi I've had there is amazing. Their fried rice is really tasty too. All the employees are extremely friendly and that really sets them apart from other places in town. The place I always head to if I'm in the mood for sushi!

Nice place. We had a sushi/sashimi boat for three that was excellent. My wife had the massaman curry and it too was excellent. We will go back here to dine again. The service was very personable. We felt like family there.

I went here to try the sushi and instead ended up getting an appetizer and some chicken curry. Both were so, so good. I am a huge fan. I went at a slow time and found the staff to be a little distracted, however I was never wanting anything and they were all friendly enough. I wish I had tried the sushi so I could comment and I am sure I will in the future but for now I will say the curry chicken was the best I have ever had. I can't remember the name of the appetizer but it was also excellent. I had so much food I had to take much of it home, which is honestly how I like it. The price was reasonable for the amount of food served. Will be back for sure!

I hate to leave such a horrible review, but our food was awful. Mu husband just got home with take out from Saigon. Two tuna rolls and an order of drunken noodles. The drunken noodles was edible, though, not the best. However, the tuna rolls should have never been served. Both of us, on taking our first bite, spit it out. My husband said they did not even pull the tuna out of the sushi case. They pulled a bag out from the underneath and used tuna from there. What was that!?! This is the first time, in my entire life, that I have not eaten sushi I have ordered. And to Saigon, if you are reading this, you knew better. The tuna was even foul by smell. That's what makes me even more angry. That you knew it was crap, and still served it!!! Done.

Ton of fish in the rolls. I can't even tell you exactly what we got. We had the beauty and the beast and a hand roll... I think. Service was good with much attention to detail. Complimentary salad when you are seated and this adorable flower made out of the straw wrapping on your water. Will be returning soon to provide a better summary and review but no complaints.

Everything you would expect from a top notch sushi restaurant. Fantastic selection, always fresh and plenty of non-sushi offerings for others in the group. The noodle baskets are a real treat and the sushi presentations are artistry in themselves. My favorite in IRC.

My families favorite sushi place hands down. The service is fantastic and the food is super fresh and delicious. May and Sonny are the owners! They really get to know their customers making everyone feel right at home. We eat at Saigon Sushi regularly and we are always happy! I love their sushi rolls and my husband loves the Sea Food Kiss Me plate, Crispy duck is another good one and the curry is yum.
